Nominasi The Game Awards 2020 Dirilis

 

The Game Awards mengumumkan daftar nominasi 2020 pada hari Rabu. Nominasi Game of the Year antara lain Final Fantasy VII Remake Square Enix dan Animal Crossing Nintendo: New Horizons. Nominasi lain dari franchise game Jepang, atau dikembangkan atau diterbitkan oleh perusahaan Jepang atau anak perusahaan luar negeri mereka, termasuk:

• Best Game Direction: Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix)
• Best Narrative: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim (Vanillaware/George Kamitani)
• Best Art Direction: Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix)
• Best Score and Music: Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix)
• Best Audio Design: Resident Evil 3 (CAPCOM)
• Best Action: Streets of Rage 4 (Dotemu)
• Best Mobile Game: Pokémon Cafe Mix (Genius Sonority)
• Best Role Playing: Final Fantasy VII Remake (Square Enix), Persona 5 Royal (Atlus), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (Sega)
• Best Fighting: Granblue Fantasy: Versus (Arc System Works), Street Fighter V: Champion Edition (CAPCOM), One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows (Spike Chunsoft/Bandai Namco Entertainment), Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [cl-r] (French Bread)

Upacara penghargaan akan diadakan pada 10 Desember pukul 19:00. EST.

Tahun lalu, game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice juga memenangkan Game of the Year; sebagai Game Aksi / Petualangan Terbaik. Death Stranding dari Kojima Productions memenangkan Best Game Direction dan Best Score / Music. Devil May Cry 5 dari CAPCOM memenangkan Game Aksi Terbaik. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate dari Nintendo memenangkan Game Pertarungan Terbaik, sedangkan Luigi's Mansion 3 dari Nintendo memenangkan Game Keluarga Terbaik. Fire Emblem: Three House memenangkan Game Strategi Terbaik.
